Hi! I'm Tyler!

My full name is Tyler Akina Basu, and my artist alias is Akina T.B. (You can also call me Akina for short!) ☺️ I am currently about to be a full-time student at SCAD majoring in sequential art (B.F.A.)! 🐝💖🎓

 

​More than anything, I yearn to create meaningful, emotional stories that move people in the ways my favorite stories touch my heart so deeply. Ever since I could hold a crayon, I've always loved drawing, and I'm especially excited to tap into my passion for sequential art! I dream of having my future stories published one day, both physically in stores and online for readers everywhere!​

 

I love to draw things that make me happy—fun characters (who fall in love!!)​, cute sketches, colorful illustrations—and I also love drawing less happy things that convey important messages. Procreate is my absolute favorite drawing app in the universe! ✨

 

​Fun fact: I'm also a writer! I enjoy creating short stories with interesting characters. When I'm not drawing or writing, I'm reading a wholesome romcom, munching on Japanese snacks, obsessing over the latest Disney·Pixar movie, listening to my favorite playlists, and dreaming about more art.
